Anyone who knows the world of internet web portal giant certainly know this one. Maybe you want to know the history of Yahoo! was up and I'm going to try to review it in brief brief history of Yahoo in the Internet world. Yahoo! is a popular web portal operated by a company called Yahoo! Inc. .. Yahoo! was originally just a kind of bookmark (page guide book), the idea was started in April 1994, at which time the two alumni of Stanford University professor got a vacation when they go out of town for a great vacation. Engineering students David Filo and Jerry Yang have less work to do than surf the internet. They do not take long to compile a huge list of bookmarks, grouped by subject. Then they thought, why not put it on the web? They then worked to create a program to deal with the database, which can provide results online.

name "Jerry and David's Guide to the World Wide Web" was changed to Yahoo!, which comes from "Yet Another Hierarchical officious Oracle".

Filo and Yang chose the word tersbeut because they liked the general definition of the word, which comes from Gulliver's Travels by Jonathan Swift: "rude-strong-,-simple-unsophisticated, and uncouth-rough-).

Yahoo.com domain was created on January 18, 1995. Since Yang and Filo realized the great potential possessed by their website is, finally, on March 1, 1995, Yahoo launched a legal entity such as most search engines on the web, Yahoo also diversified into web portals.

In the late 1990s, Yahoo!, MSN, Lycos, Excite and other Web portals experiencing rapid growth which causes each race web portal to extend the reach of their services so that Internet users longer layover on their web portal. The way they do is by acquiring other companies that can provide the service they want.

In March 1995, Yahoo was entered into business cooperation with the owner of Silicon Valley Venture capital institutions. Then, they worked with Sequa Capital, a company that has a reputation in the field of investments included Apple Computer, Atari, Oracle and Cisco Systems. They agreed to fund Yahoo with an initial investment of close to $ 2 million. Since the realization of the new company they have rapid growth potential, Jerry Yang and David began to build a management team. They recruited a veteran of Motorola and Stanford Engineering alumni named Tim Koogle as chief executive officer and a founder Jeff Mallet Novell's Division of Consumer WordPerpectsebagai chief operating officer.

They managed to save the second funding cycle in 1995 from investors Reuters Ltd.. and Softbank. Yahoo! is a global Internet brand first to reach the biggest audience in cyberspace. The company is also building an online business services company that designs productivity and web for clients. Design services are included in the collaboration. Yahoo!, a customized solution for the enterprise; audio and video streaming; store hosting and management, and services and supplies website. Global network of web companies are included in the 25 world properties. With headquarters in Sunnyvale, Calif., Yahoo! has also has offices in Europe, Asia, Latin America, Australia, Canada, and the United States.

Nokia History

Said Nokia originated from the name of a community living in the river emakoski in Finland. Nokia was established as a pulp mill by Fredrik Idestam in 1865. Finnish Rubber Company then set up factories in the surrounding region in the early 20th century and start using the Nokia brand.

Shortly after immediately following World War I, Finnish Rubber Company acquired the Nokia Wood Milling Company and Finnish Cable Company (a manufacturer of telephone and telegraph wires). These three companies were merged into the Nokia Corporation in 1967. Later developed into the machine pulp and paper manufacturer in 1920 and is a leading paper manufacturer in Europe.

Then in the early 1990's, Nokia had experienced a crisis, but the new CEO, Jorma Ollila, decided to focus on mobile phones and phone networks. As a result, the first GSM phone in the world appeared in Finland in 1991. Then the global mobile phone market is growing very rapidly in the mid-1990s and a number of Nokia products into one.

Now, as 2100 series phones Nokia gain success. Target sales of 500 thousand units were achieved in 1994. With a workforce of 54 thousand people, Nokia products sold in over 130 countries. Now maybe everyone knows a cell phone that is easy to operate was Nokia, because that's the motto of Nokia.

Since the first country Finland is highly dependent on the outcome of its forests in the form of wood, just as has been said by one of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Finland, Jyrki Vesikansa, "We used to live out of the woods, but now we can add the Nokia".

On August 15, 2007, Nokia centers conduct a recall of the type BL-5C battery, one of the most popular battery for Nokia mobile phone at the moment.

History of Wikipedia

Wales became increasingly involved with promoting and talking about the Wikimedia projects, and to do so, he visited conferences and meetings, such as "Wikimeets" and Wikimania.

All Wikipedia content protected General Public Licence (GNU) Free Documentation License (GNU free documentation license or GNU FDL). Thousands of free project is under GNU FDL, but Wikipedia is this which is the largest project documentation GNU FDL.

Wikipedia policy that all articles should be written from a neutral point of view or a neutral point of view (NPOV). According to Wales, NPOV is a liability and should not be contested.
