History of Anatomy

The Greek philosophers, voracious in their curiosity, looking forward to the variety of living things, from the least of plants to humans. A Greek name was invented by a German naturalist in the early 19th century to study all aspects of the physical nature of life - biology, bios (life) and logos (word or discourse). This is a topic with clear subdivisions, such as botany, zoology and anatomy. But all concerned with living organisms.

The first person to make a significant contribution in biology is Alcmaeon, living in Crotona in the 5th century. Crotona known to scholars as Pythagoras, but Alcmaeon does not seem to have been at their schools. Alcmaeon was the first scientist known to have practiced dissection in research. The goal is not anatomy, for the benefit lies in trying to find a place of human intelligence. But in the course of his research, he made the first scientific discoveries in the field of anatomy.

Then the Greek theory, subscribed even by Aristotle, is that the heart is the center of intelligence. Alcmaeon reason that a punch to the head can affect the mind, brain concussion, this must be where the reason. With a post-mortem to pursue this idea, he observed the parts that connect the brain to the eye (optic nerve) and the back of the mouth to the ear (Eustachian tube).

Human vivisection: c.300 BC

At the beginning of the third century BC in Alexandria two surgeons, Herophilus and Erasistratus, made the first scientific study to learn about the workings of the human anatomy.

Cost of their contribution to science would be considered too high in modern times (they get much of their information from human vivisection, patients become convicted felons). But Celsus, a Roman writer on medical history, full of zeal to justify the suffering of criminals provide "a remedy for the innocent people of all ages to come.

The influential errors of Galen: the 2nd century AD

The newly appointed head physician of the gladiators in Pergamum, in the year 158, is a native of the city. It's a Greek physician named Galen. The appointment gave him the opportunity to study the wounds of all kinds. His knowledge of the muscles that allow him to warn patients about the possible outcomes of a particular operation - a wise precaution physician Galen recommended the council.

But it is the dissection of apes and pigs Galen provide detailed information on the medical channel organs. Nearly 100 of the channel alive. They became the basis of a great reputation in medieval medicine Galen, unmatched until the work of Vesalius anatomy.

Through experiments Galen was able to reverse the old beliefs, such as the theory (first proposed by the school of Hippocrates in 400 BC or so, and defended even by doctors of Alexandria) containing blood vessels air - wear it around the body of the heart and lungs. This belief is based initially on the arteries of dead animals, which appears to be empty.

Galen was able to show that arterial blood contains life. The mistake, which will be established medical orthodoxy over the centuries, is to assume that the blood came and went in the heart of the movement and flow. This theory applies in the medical community until Harvey.

The science of sleep: 8 to the 15th century

For centuries the very Christian atmosphere prevailing in medieval Europe is not conducive to scientific inquiry. God knows best, and therefore should - because he created everything. Where knowledge is required, there are ancient authorities whose conclusions are accepted without question - the astronomy of Ptolemy, Galen on anatomical matters.

Some scholars showed an unusual interest in scientific research. 13th-century Franciscan friar Roger Bacon was the most frequently cited example, but studies including alchemy and astrology, as well as optics and astronomy. Doubt practically necessary for science, not until the Renaissance.

Anatomical drawings of Leonardo da Vinci: AD 1489-1515

At about 1489 Leonardo da Vinci began a series of anatomical drawings. For greater accuracy of observation, they are far more advanced than anything previously attempted. For twenty-five years later, he dissected the body of thirty men, many of them to the morgue at Rome - until in 1515 Pope Leo X, ordered him to stop.

His picture, which is about 750, including studies on the structure of bones, muscles, organs, brain and even the position of the fetus in the womb. His study shows that the heart would find the concept of blood circulation.

Vesalius and anatomy: AD 1533-1543

A medical student, was born in Brussels and is known to history as Vesalius, attend lectures on anatomy at the University of Paris. Lecturer explains human anatomy, as revealed by Galen 1000 years earlier, while the corresponding data points assistant with the bodies dissected. Often Wizard can not find the body as described, but the body is not always necessary to be one of Galen.

Vesalius decided he would dissect the bodies themselves and to trust the evidence of what was found. The approach is highly controversial. But his apparent ability to cause his appointment in 1537 as professor of surgery and anatomy at the University of Padua.

In 1540, Vesalius gave a public demonstration of the inaccuracy of the theory of the anatomy of Galen, which is still in the orthodox medical profession. Galen made a lot of experiments on great apes. Vesalius now on the screen - for comparison - a man and a monkey skeleton.

Vesalius was able to show that in many cases it is true monkey sighting Galen, but had nothing to do with humans. Clearly what is needed is a new account of the human anatomy.

Vesalius himself a duty to provide, illustrated with a series of surgeries and images. Having at its disposal, the method is relatively new in Europe, to ensure a clear division of the image printed form - the art of wood carving. His studies were inaugurated modern science of anatomy.

In Basel, Switzerland, in 1543 Vesalius published his great work - De Humani Fabrica Corporis (body structure). There are seven volumes, including beautiful illustrations engraved on wood. This book is a success, although naturally it enrages traditionalists who followed Galen. Galen's theory is, after all, a clear benefit of seniority. They are now some 1400 years.

But for those who want to see with clear eyes, the plates in Vesalius volume is a revelation. For the first time people can scan in their own skin, in a very clear picture of what is hidden.

Harvey and the circulation of the blood: AD 1628

There is a book published in 1628 which provides one of the biggest breakthroughs in understanding the human body - perhaps the largest until the discovery of the DNA structure in the 20th century.

This book consists of only fifty-two pages, are also found. His text in Latin. The title is Exercitatio anatomica motu Cordis and animalibus sanguinis ("Function Movement anatomy Heart and Blood in Animals"). The author is William Harvey. In this book he shows without a doubt, an entirely new concept. Blood, it shows, does not originate in the body of any kind of tidal random. Instead he continues to be pumped around the circuit is very accurate.

So far it has been assumed that the blood in the arteries and blood in the blood vessels are of different nature. It is well known that they are a different color, and there are many theories as to what each shipment of blood.

The most common belief is that arteries carry air connected to the type of energy to the body (not far from the truth), and blood in the blood vessels of the liver distribute food (less accurate).

With a length of surgery (dogs and pigs to snails and clams), and the logical reasoning process, Harvey was able to prove that the body contains a single blood supply, and that the heart is a muscular pump about its circuitry.

This circuit, as can be demonstrated, carrying blood from the blood vessels into the right ventricle of the heart, he was sent from there through the lungs into the left ventricle of the heart, and then distribute it through the arteries to return different areas of the body.

After much initial opposition, the argument Harvey finally convinced most of his contemporaries. But there are two missing ingredients. The theory suggests that there should be a network of tiny blood vessels that carry blood from the arterial system and the venous system and completing the circuit. But surgery was not enough to show this. It was not until four years after his death that Marcello Malpighi observed the capillaries.

And Harvey could not explain why the heart has to pump blood. This explanation must await the discovery of oxygen.

Malpighi and microscopy: AD 1661

Marcello Malpighi, a professor of theoretical medicine at the University of Bologna, was a pioneer in the use of the microscope in biology.

One night in 1661, on a hill near Bologna, using the sun as a source of light, shining in its goal through thin sections prepared from the lungs of the frog. In the broader picture, it is clear that all of the blood contained in a small tube.

Malpighi thus became the first scientist to observe the capillaries, the tiny blood vessels in which the blood flow through the flesh. They are so smooth and so much so that each of our bodies contain more than 100,000 miles of microscopic channels.

With their discovery, the missing link in Harvey on the circulation of the blood was found. For capillary literally link through which the oxygen-rich blood from the arteries deliver energy to cells of the body first, then find a way back into the veins to return to the heart.

Leeuwenhoek and microscopy: AD 1674-1683

Pioneering work by Malpighi microscope is also taken by the Dutch scientist Anton van Leeuwenhoek. He teaches glass polishing at a very high precision and clarity (some of them provide 300x magnification), using a simple microscope with a single lens - magnifying glass is actually small and very powerful.

With these instruments, he was able to observe a phenomenon previously too small to see. In 1674, he was the first scientist to give an accurate description of the red blood cells. In 1677, he observed and described sperm in semen dog. In 1683, he gave a picture of animalcules (or bacteria) were observed in saliva and dental plaque.

His findings, published mostly in the Philosophical Transactions of the Royal Society of London (though he himself lived in Delft), strongly suggest the joy of being the first to walk around with such a broad vision of the little things of the animal rule.

His account of the following general chip development from egg to adult anatomy refine practices. His research shows for the first time that living things have a life cycle and minutes generative systems as larger creatures.

Microscopic Anatomy: 17 - 20 th century

The discovery Malphighi capillaries, the anatomy of the main body are known. With a thorough study of Leeuwenhoek previously unseen aspects of living matter, the subject moves to stage a more mysterious - than microscopic anatomy.

The first steps of the new road to occur in the 1830s

Felix Dujardin in 1835 identified as a translucent viscous substance common to all forms of life, the name given by the protoplasm. While others observed that the object of life is set in the form of repeated structural. Robert Brown discovered in the factory, in 1831, the main nucleus of every cell. In 1839, Matthias Schleiden and Theodor Swann gave the first account of the formation of coherent cells that process of development of all life (long theme guessed by others, but not solved or shows).

But further along this journey, deep into the center of the living matter, is the discovery of the structure of DNA in 1953.

History Toothpaste (Whitening Teeth)

Can you imagine people way back in 3000 BC using a toothbrush? Well, They Are not What we know today as the toothbrush. And They Do not call them a toothbrush, either. They Called them "chew sticks." The purpose although spot this kind of ugly teeth Is it really healthy - no cavities. So fluoride Being Recognized as a Good Thing.

At the dentist in 1840, Italy and France recommended Should people start at a young age, sucking the sweet honey, fluoride lozenges. Increase the value of fluoride WS. In fact, in 1915, American scientists experimented with Adding fluoride to drinking water. They Are Driven by positive social outcomes, that "the use of water to disperse fluoride toothpaste and mouthwash, drastically reducing the cavities.

Order today, too much fluoride can cause stains on teeth. Dentists have found that many children are brushing their teeth with fluoride toothpaste was NOT from swallowing their spit it out. History of Perfume

The first perfume was part of a religious ritual

The beginning of the use of perfume can be traced back thousands of years to early Egypt. The first fragrance of incense in fact, which explains the true origin of the "perfume" he said. It is derived from the Latin word "to" and "prime", meaning "through" and "smoke". Similarly, burning resin and woody fragrance that has been achieved. And they are used for religious ceremonies.

Aroma was developed in collaboration with the cosmetics first, but they were not made to attract the opposite sex, they are designed to appeal to the goodwill of the gods. The Egyptians were very spiritual people. That's why they take the art of perfume making so seriously - they thought that the gods smile on them if they feel good, and if they are surrounded by these scents. In fact, they took the idea with them after their death. Many perfume containers buried in mass graves. They are also used for embalming. Perfume much they are used, and the perfume, the more likely they will have to go to heaven.

For example, when the tomb of Tutankhamun was discovered there, the whole body, it's a pot of oil and perfume. When the grave was opened, there was a strong scent trail detected. And it was 3,300 years ago! Now that the strong aroma! Use Perfume starts to become more personal Over the years, the use of perfume is limited to priests who perform religious ceremonies, and also for the very wealthy. Those who are wealthy enough and powerful enough to have a perfume, from him for more personal reasons. Consistent with the idea of being spiritually clean, they think they can please the gods even if they are not just filling the air with perfume, but they themselves are also covered.

This led to the practice of soaking fragrant wood and resins in water and oil, and rub the liquid all over his body. As this practice continues, the priests gave up their grip on the precious perfume, to give others the right to use it. In an effort to create a perfect society clean, the people are commanded to perfume themselves at least once a week.

The next logical step for this is for people to start using perfume in their bathrooms. The idea of luxury bath Greeks and Romans came to Egypt. They swim with enthusiasm. Oil has helped to protect their skin from drying out in the hot weather. It was also the beginning of creams and ointments to pelembab.Wadah perfume is always interesting The Egyptian perfume treat them with respect, and believe that only the best was good enough containers to hold them. Every effort is made to produce a beautiful special container. They use exotic materials such as alabaster, ebony wood and porcelain. When the glass was first made in Egypt, it was considered more precious than jewels, thus becoming the material of choice for their perfume container.

Have a look at perfume bottles and containers that are sold today, and you will see that this practice has not changed for thousands of years. Perfume bottles today are as attractive as they always. Now, manufacturers are very innovative with perfume bottle design mereka.Pembuatan down through the centuries When the Greeks and Romans to move to Egypt, they like perfumes and ointments, the Egyptians used. They quickly learn to produce them, and began to add their personal touch. It is said that the Greeks were the first to make a perfume liquid, although it's not something like perfume today. To create a perfume, they use scented powder mixture and heavy oil - no alcohol.

The Greeks have a high regard certain flowers, including lilies and roses. So, while similar to the perfume which is considered the best. They use oil like olive oil and almond oil, to capture the scent of flowers. Added to lilies and roses are fennel and iris root. The Greeks love to swim with the perfume, both men and women, and they are used on all parts of the body, both before and after the bath.

This practice is widespread in the Roman baths, where there will be all kinds of perfume bottles and bottles in all shapes and sizes. The Romans bathe three times a day, so they need to keep a lot of hands. They even put perfume on dogs and horses. And their parties, they put scent wings and let them fly around the room, release the scent as they go. They also put perfume on their furniture.

The waiters various aromatic compounds, as well. It was quite the fragrance! Parfum makes its way around the world There was a slight decrease in the use of perfume during a time when Christianity began to spread. Christian thought he was too soft. And then when the Roman Empire fell, the use of perfume really downhill. But because they do not believe in Christianity, Islam community use of perfume lingers.

With aging focused on international trade routes open, the art of making perfumes spread throughout the known world. This has led to a renaissance around the 12th century. As some of the countries involved in the arts, various aromatic found to make new fragrances. Ownership and use of perfume has become a status symbol, a sign of prestige. Only those who have money to spare afford expensive perfume. European buy-rich aromatic gum that had been sent from China. Those with a large amount of perfume has been honored.

Arabs have played an important role in the development of the perfume industry. Arab doctor / chemist named Avicenna, developed the distillation process that extracts of sunflower oil. Flowers first, he tried his process is a rose. Until then, the liquid perfume made from a mixture of oil and crushed herbs or petals, which made a very strong perfume. Avicenna process produces water grows much lighter, and it quickly became very populer.Wewangian developed in France In the 17th century, perfume made in France. Be romantic them, perfume is natural to add a sensual touch. French perfume used on their clothing, such as gloves perfumed. They also put their furniture to make their rooms smell fragrant.

However, major advances in the fragrance came in the 18th century with the creation of cologne, which is a mixture of rosemary, neroli, bergamot and lemon. The use of perfume cologne do not stop - French use in their drinks in their food as medicine taken orally or by injection, and even as an enema.

Another part of the heritage of French perfume that has been adopted is the ancient Egyptian art of perfume-making container. France made all kinds of fancy perfume bottles, driven by the opening of the Baccarat glassworks in 1765. As the 19th century rolled around, the evolution of science and chemistry has opened up a whole new world for the perfume industry. And no leaves France to prevent their widespread use perfume, even the French Revolution. In fact, they are actually used for an excuse to introduce a new fragrance called "Parfum a la Guillotine."

Sounds like the smell of "intoxicating", is not it? Town Grasse created their own French Revolution There is a small town in the southern region of Provence called Grasse France. This is where a revolution in the perfume industry began. Grasse has become the largest global provider of raw materials for the perfume industry. Here's how they do it.

Every year in May, the people of Grasse harvest their "crop". You can see dozens of people in the field, carefully hand-picking the flowers pale pink Centifolia Rosa, or Rose of May, when he came to be known. Petals of their most sought after ingredient in the manufacture of perfumes as well. But the petals are needed to produce a small amount of perfume. Just to produce one kilogram of rose absolute, which is what they call a concentrate made from flower petals are thin, they need 300 000 Roses in May The process of making an absolute increase take some time, the use of solvents for the extraction of the long-term. The result of this process is, blood-colored wax substance which, when treated with alcohol and distilled, leaving a pale yellow rose absolute. Due to long and elegant, rose absolute is very expensive - cost more than $ 9000 USD kg, and is enough to make a few hundred bottles of perfume.

This extract has become very popular around the world. However, countries such as China, India, South Africa and Morocco, to use their best work and large farms, produce copies rose absolute that they sell to manufacturers of perfumes in the world, underestimated the price of the original product Grasse. But France continues to produce the world's finest perfumes. A pioneer of French perfume Jean Patou, who presented the famous perfume, Joy, now known as "the most expensive perfume in the world." Joy is made exclusively with roses and jasmine absolute, and cost about $ 120USD for 50ml. Joy was originally created in 1930 for Jean Patou is a wealthy American clients who lost money and heart, following the Wall Street crash.

Two other perfumes are made with either rose absolute Guerlain's Shalimar, Chanel No. 5. It is a leader in authentic, high fashion perfume, like most French perfume perfume mahal.Industri off For forty years, the perfume industry has exploded. To give you an idea of how fast to grow, in 1993, there were about a new fragrance launched every week. Now there is one every day, every company is trying to score a point in their rivalry with the cost of launching new, innovative and glamorous.

During the second half of the 20th century, there were many changes in style and scent of perfume. Looks like they changed according to the dominant lifestyle today. For example, in the 70's, white flowers and floriental (floral and oriental combination) are popular perfume. Then at 80 a taste of power takes over. And in 90 notes environmentally friendly, fresh and sweet is Ozonic preference. Now, in the new millennium in free style rocked tema.Parfum launched 70 We will talk about some of the leaders in the race for the perfume, as the years passed. One of the first major launch in 1970, when Yves Saint Laurent was introduced in France. But it was the U.S. that really started the launch explosion. Women are more independent, and buy fragrance to wear all day, and not just for evening events. They started creating clothes from aroma, with a variety of flavors, one for every occasion.

A U.S. launched the first in 1973, when Revlon introduced Charlie. Women love it! And that was the beginning of a strong American influence in the perfume industry. All the big designers have adopted a fragrance that suits their own style. Then other countries follow the example of America. In England, Mary Quant Havoc was introduced in 1974. Havoc is scented body spray that has been adapted to the younger generation who do not have much disposable income to spend on expensive perfume. It was also light because the spray was spread over a wide area. And if they wanted to, she could spray a little into the air, then walk in it, giving full coverage.

Japan also entered the fragrance market with their own creation, a new green floral scent. Shiseido has been used in the launch of Inoue. The green flower quickly won, and has been used in perfume launches like Chanel No. 19 in 1971, Alloy Estee Lauder in 1972, private collection in 1973, Amazone Hermes in 1974.
Do not be left out of the lucrative business of perfume, jewelry began to introduce their own perfume, such as Van Cleef and Arpels, which was first launched in 1976.

Perfume and men began to emerge. Christian Dior Eau Sauvage introduced, which encourages women's perfume wild! And spear wild, too. In 1977, YSL (Yves Saint Laurent) launched the opium, which was so controversial, virtually banned in the United States. Estee Lauder responded with cinnabar soon.

In 1978, made a little turn in the trend perfume, Anais Anais Cacharel when launched, was the white flowers, as opposed to Green Day populer.Flamboyan and the effect is the trend of the 80 fragrances The 80 comes with a flourishing economy and a tendency to blind creativity. Strong and powerful fragrances designed for yuppies. All kinds of big names have developed their own fragrances, conducted in 1981 by Giorgio Beverly Hills by Giorgio.

And Christian Dior have outdone themselves with Poison, a perfume that was announced to create the feeling of love-hate. It floriental perfume was so strong (37%) that some of the restaurants in New York because he was forbidden to overcome the smell of food. This trend continues in a strong perfume scent by Calvin Klein Obsession introduction of the East in 1985. This was followed in 1989 by Samsara by Guerlain, was overdosed with sandalwood.

Some other striking floriental introduced in 80 it is illegal by Guy Laroche, Panthere by Cartier, Lou Lou by Cacharel, Happy Diamonds Chopard and Boucheron. Some of the less powerful scent was introduced in the 80's was in Paris by YSL, Jardins de Bagatelle by Guerlain, and Beautiful by Estee Lauder.90 degrees of success led to smooth, quiet perfume One of the first fragrance launched in the 90's proved to be most successful. Within four years of its introduction, Tresor, by Lancome, has become one of the five best-selling perfumes in Europe. Another perfume which became a worldwide hit was Amarige by Givenchy.

The 90's also brought a freshness in the perfume, driven by environmental awareness. Fragrance has notes of marine and Ozonic, for example, for Him by Aramis New West, followed immediately by Calvin Klein Escape, and Dune by Christian Dior. As the world shrinks, more and more countries joined the perfume industry. Middle East and East Asia has created a sense of many great designers, but they also come with what they call "me-toos" or have helped to expand the "copy-cat perfume." perfume market to include those who have a budget kecil.Parfum today for men and women Although the fragrance market for women was most industries, has entered the men's. Some examples today in Cologne for men by Givenchy Pi available, Hugo Boss Baldessarini, Pleasure for Men by Estee Lauder, Lancome Miracle Man, Eternity by Calvin Klein and. Men are more aware of fashion these days, as evidenced by the increased use of cosmetics for men.

Now counter perfume is a favorite place to go buy a gift, either for men or women. And speaking of gifts, keep in touch with all the fragrance launch - many of them come with gifts to buy, which means that you spend a certain amount on the counter, and you get a free gift. And these gifts are usually quite large.

Historical Newspapers

Some of the observations contained in a medium or pronounced. Usually we think of news as a particular kind of historical reality, which may be described analytically. It is a mystification of the subject. If journalists are experts in something, your audience, and not other aspects of reality. Judging from "pheomenologically," is the news that did in today's paper or on the news. There are now 188 countries, today $ 5 million, and thousands of things that "happen". Only those who actually do the work in the news. Tomorrow will have its own story, so that the event will never be denied the news. Of course it could be part of the reconstruction of the history of our time then. One would think that in this case that the reporters just blew it - if you really believe that the news is of the same nature as the story. But the news was not about the story, actually, but the benefits, when the editors think clearly, and newspaper publishers think clearly from the beginning.

The definition should come from general use, and this is what we mean by "news" when confused with the notion of such important news or news reported. There is no such thing as the press reported, because the news was not natural.

Those who hope that the news will keep you informed about the world's great powers should consider the possibility that the power can be defined as the ability to be saved from the news. In addition, the elite can be defined as a group that is able to monopolize certain types of information, and keep it out of circulation. Even to this day all the important news transmitted orally, the elite. If a big story is what gives a person an advantage over others, then it follows that valuable news is something you have to pay a lot for, one way or the other. What remains is converted into media content.

It is true that for centuries the media attention has helped residents to monitor and challenge the elite. Over time, this attention has eroded the power of the elite few, but only if the press itself became big business elites with their own secrets. What is the balance shown in the new distribution of power, and if the public has a right to be included in the power structure because consciousness news, should get more attention than it has.

The origins of the Press

Historical newspapers often dramatic chapter of human experience going back some five centuries. In Renaissance Europe handwritten newspaper circulated privately among merchants, for information about everything from wars and economic conditions to social customs and characteristics of the "human interest". Pioneers first printed newspaper appeared in Germany in the 1400's in the form of news pamphlets or broadsides, often highly sensational in content. Some of the most famous of these reports atrocities against Germans in Transylvania by sadistic veovod Drakul Tsepes called Vlad, who became Count Dracula of later folklore.

In the English-speaking world, the early ancestors of the newspaper is corantos, news pamphlets produced only small when important events occur. The first title published in The Weekly Newes from 1622. This was followed in 1640 and 1650 by a number of different titles in the same format Newsbook. First true newspaper in English is London Gazette of 1666. For the generation which was only officially sanctioned newspaper, though many periodical titles in the media is at the end of this century.
Started in the United States

In the U.S., newspapers (newspaper) first appeared in Boston in 1690, entitled Publick Occurrences. Published without authority, which was immediately suppressed, publisher arrested, and all copies destroyed. In fact, it was forgotten until 1845, when the only surviving example known to be found in the British Library. The newspaper was the first successful Boston News-Letter, begun by postmaster John Campbell in 1704. Despite receiving large subsidies from the colonial government the experiment was a failure in the short term, with very limited circulation. Two other studies were introduced in 1720, in Philadelphia and New York, and the fourth power gradually established in the new continent. On the eve of the War of Independence, about two dozen papers published in all the colonies, although Massachusetts, New York, and Pennsylvania will remain the center of American printing for many years. Colonial newspaper article, brilliantly conceived by revolutionary propagandists, is the main force affecting public opinion in the United States of reconciliation with England to full political independence.

At the end of the war in 1783, there are forty-three newspapers in print. The press plays an important role in the affairs of the new nation, many more newspapers started, representing all shades of political opinion. He did not force the principles of journalism largely preventable libelous by modern standards, reflecting the rough and tumble of political life of the republic as rival factions push for power. Ratification of the Bill of Rights in 1791 to ensure the freedom of the press and U.S. newspapers began to take on a central role in national affairs. Growth continued in all countries. In 1814 there are 346 newspapers. In the populist Jackson, 1830, advances in technology led to an explosion of printing and paper daily growth, the emergence of "Penny Press", but it is now possible to produce a newspaper that can be sold for only a penny per copy. Previously, the newspaper is the province of the wealthy few, reading and writing. Subscription price for one year, usually about a week of labor wages, must be paid in full and "always in advance." This sudden availability of cheap materials, interesting reading is an important stimulus to achieve nearly universal literacy for granted in America.
Industrial Revolution

The industrial revolution such as changing every aspect of American life and society, dramatically affected newspapers. Both the number of documents and their paid circulation continues to increase. 1850 Census recorded 2526 title. In 1850, a powerful giant presses appeared, able to print ten thousand complete papers per hour. At this time the first "pictorial" weekly newspapers emerged, but the illustration of the first major events in the news, as the wood carvings of the correspondents or sketch drawn from a new invention of photography. During the Civil War unprecedented demand for timely, accurate news in the dynamic changed American journalism, hardhitting in national life. Reporters called "special", became a public favorite and idols of young people around the world. Many accounts submitted by the brave adventurers battle stands today as the definitive history of its people.

The news does not stop growth in the years following the war. A staggering 11,314 different items listed in the 1880 census. In 1890 circulation figures of one million copies per issue first recorded (ironically, these newspapers are now very rare due to the horrible quality cheap paper used, and the huge losses in World War World II era paper unit) In this period appeared the features of letters modern news, headline the "banner", extensive use of illustrations, "funny pages" as well as expanded coverage of organized sporting events. The emergence of "yellow journalism" also marks this period. Hearst could actually boast that the newspaper produced a public clamor for war against Spain in 1898. It is also an age of media consolidation, independent newspapers were swallowed up many a strong "chain" with unfortunate consequences for the press once fearless and incorruptible, many are reduced to a vehicle for the distribution of opinion detached from its owner, and so still, without competing papers to challenge their views. In the 1910s, all the essential features of modern recognizable newspapers have emerged. In our time, radio and television is gradually replacing newspapers as the nation's primary source of information, so it can be difficult at first to appreciate the role that newspapers have played in our history.

History of Bermuda Triangle In Indonesia

Bermuda Triangle, certainly is not foreign to our ears. Yaaa, a place which is still a mystery to some strange events and beyond reason our minds. This time will be a little set of history to uncover the mystery of the Bermuda Triangle is in this.

The term "Bermuda Triangle" was first coined by a writer named Vincent Gaddis in 1964 when he wrote a cover story for Argosy magazine about the mysterious disappearance of Flight 19. Also known as the 'Triangle of Satan' or, according to many scientists, however, the boundaries were defined between mystery and fantasy fiction. Known as the Bermuda Triangle where ships and planes have mysteriously vanished, but why? Here are 6 theories are widely believed by many people about the Bermuda Triangle. Mystery of the Bermuda Triangle

1. Leftover technology from the lost civilization of Atlantis

Of the various claims about the Bermuda Triangle, one of the allegations was that it was the location where the lost city of Atlantis. Edgar Cayce predicted that in 1968, archaeologists will find the entrance to the city of Atlantis sank near Bimini in the Bermuda Triangle.

At that time the stones that form the walls of a deliberate discovered buried on an island in the Bahamas and many think this is evidence of the lost city of Atlantis.

According to legend, the city of Atlantis have the energy generation of the crystal which to this day still sends a wave of energy, because the location of the crystal were buried under the sea causing ships and planes will be disrupted on the navigation equipment. Conspiracy theorists today also speculate about an underwater military base known as Underwater Area 51, one of the reasons for the mystery of the Bermuda Triangle.

2. By Alien Abduction

Alien Abduction Theory in the Bermuda triangle is at number 8 because the theory is so popular, but it seems unlikely. Accidents 'mysterious' in the area increased in 1967 with a press release by the National Geographic Society detailing strange phenomena in and around the Triangle.

Certainly not the alleged alien abduction, but people soon began to fill in the gaps with explanations like aliens interfere with navigation equipment to kidnap people.

Fog psychedelic sixties began to emerge as an issue as people move into the 70s, but the idea of aliens continued long after the 60's a transcendental memory.

A huge search on land and sea do to find 5 Navy torpedo bombers that disappeared during a routine flight and rescue plane missing after being sent to search for the missing crew.

Flight 19 consisted of 13 crew, and until now the victims and the wreckage was never found, including the rescue plane that consists of 14 people who mean to be a search team.

3. Methane Gas

One explanation of the Bermuda triangle as the mysterious ocean predators is Methane Gas. This theory has focused on the presence of large areas of natural gas called methane.

Laboratory experiments have shown that methane bubble can indeed sink ships by reducing the density of the water with the seabed debris and foam are very likely to rise to the surface and then quickly overthrew the ship.

Theory ni have additional evidence to the events of eruption 'mud volcano' can produce frothy water that are no longer capable of providing adequate buoyancy for ships, causing them to sink very quickly without warning.

It is known from experiments that the methane gas can also affect aircraft and ships. Publications by the USGS describe large inventory undersea hydrates worldwide.

But according to other documents, no large releases of gas that is believed to have occurred in the Bermuda Triangle during the last 15,000 years.

4. Magnetic Field

Strange crash in the Bermuda Triangle have been linked to evidence compass and navigational problems, making geomagnetic fields a real case, and the theory makes sense to disappearances that occurred in Bermuda.

Problems with magnetic equipment from geomagnetic field is 5 out of the top ten reasons the Bermuda Triangle to be so confusing.

Many theories that there are magnetic anomalies in the area and that this area is one of only two places on earth where the north pole and the magnetic north can bring out varying longitudinal results on navigation equipment.

In connection with the theory of 'electronic fog' by Rob MacGregor and Bruce Gernon, powerful electromagnetic storms from within the earth comes to the surface and penetrate into the atmosphere, and then leave the fog behind.

5. Time Machine

This theory was entered at number 9 because of a serious lack of evidence. Some reports say that as many as 1,000 lives have been lost in the last 500 years and that more than 50 ships and 20 planes have disappeared in the first century.

U.S. Navy and Coast Guard says there is no evidence of unusual activity in the area. Then if anything to do with time travel?

This conjecture is still widely circulated among the people of the world. However, no one thought the Bermuda Triangle has 'blue holes' are considered the remnants of wormholes where aliens cross dimensions to travel to Earth.

6. Variations of the Gulf Stream

The Gulf Stream is almost like a river in the ocean comes from the Gulf of Mexico and flows through the Straits of Florida into the North Atlantic.

It covers 40 to 50 miles wide area and can bring debris to the surface speed of 5.6 miles per hour for 2-4 knot currents and this depends on the weather patterns.

Gulf Stream could easily move aircraft or ships of course, and the next, including the Bermuda Triangle as some the world's deepest ocean trench, the deepest approaching almost 10,000 feet below sea level.

The ship remains very likely be swallowed by the sea into a ditch if not by the current. Unexpectedly high waves also have been reported up to eighty feet outside the Gulf Stream, adding to the difficulty of finding ships and planes lost at sea

I originally intended to create a blog associated with a variety of articles or blog which discusses various important information, be it about computers, blogs, papers, articles and so on. however, it disappeared because some things into my consideration. in this case I will describe some basic sub why I choice my blog title aneka ragam makalah .

1. Realization aneka ragam makalah

I Is GRADUATE IAIN-SU students are now again preparing the thesis, Buddy can imagine so many tasks given papers to my lecturer. This paper tasks were a bit along the way my course until now. in the search for the current paper is not only to be found in reference sources such books as the main source, but with the sophistication of the time, these papers can be found via the internet by the various search engines namely Google Search Engine of course, why Google, I have discussed this in my previous article titled 7 Search Engine popular, if interested please read.

I search in blog to suit various keywords that I want is not running smoothly, it is because they ketidakkomitmenan in making titles that do not fit its contents. I had been through this before in the Title Commitment in Making Blog. because the existence of these problems, then raised an idea to look for a variety of papers in accordance with the Standard writing papers from a variety of sources, and one of them is from my friends, and this is the origin of creation Papers Athletics Blog

2. Before aneka ragam makalah

Athletics is the title of a recent paper I've made, at first I just made the paper title, but the keyword is so much paper that makes it so that my blog order to achieve nine hundred, wauuu dong .. tired ..!. then I change the paper source title, but it is not running smoothly, then I merubanya again with a set of paper, it also did not go smoothly. end up with a fairly strong consideration and have been thinking in a few days, so I finally made the paper Athletics, and it lasted until now.

3. Meaning aneka ragam makalah

he .. he ... he .., my friend, I've laughed out loud about my title, he found that Title I does not match the title in general, kanapa????, he is better suited Athletics associated with food, Products, Cosmetics, Clothing and so on, for paper Athletics seem less attractive. however, I am not desperate to retain Athletics Main Title Papers as my blog is.

The reason I made the titles are:

The title is unique and no one is making this title to me, it means my little rival
Because I created Content or the content of my blog is the variety of papers
Easy to remember
the lengthy process of choosing this title
I like

4. activities aneka ragam makalah

Currently the number of posts from the paper Athletics numbered approximately 500 papers of various types consisting of both Indonesian and English language. in addition to the commitment made paper post and want to increase it again, the paper also discusses Athletics Articles which I think is important, but I will continue to prioritize the paper contains this blog, because I do not want to be labeled as a person who did not commit, while the Articles I put I put in a separate sub-category does not interfere with the paper.

In addition to the above, the paper Athletics also made an appeal to the visitors who want to donate paper outright to my blog, if he had a blog then Athletics The paper will include a link to the blog author himself and not me.
