Zinedine Yazid Zidane (born in Marseille, France, June 23, 1972), nicknamed Zizou is a French football player of Algerian origin. His position was an attacking midfielder. He began his career as a player at the club AS Cannes and later played in the Girondins Bordeaux, Juventus and Real Madrid in the final. He retired from club football in 2006 and retiring from the French national football team after the 2006 World Cup.
